Blog 7 – Nearly Earth day 2024

This year the idea is about using less plastic. So think twice about using plastic. Today I want you to think about using less plastic! By 2040 we want all people to use 60% less plastic.

1. Stop using disposable plastic bottles! Use metal bottles, adults could use glass bottles
2. Stop using plastic bags! Use your own bags from home that are not plastic like a canvas or fabric ones
3. Stop using disposable plastic cutlery! Use metal cutlery and wash them. Maybe you could bring a set of metal cutlery to your work and keep them there to use. If you can’t then use wooden or recyclable cutlery.
4. Stop using plastic straws! Use metal straws. if you have plastic straws, use them more than once!
