I will show a picture of oil in the sea, this is from my condo in Singapore. The oil spill came when a boat crashed into a parked boat and oil leaked. It is effecting not only fish but birds, plants, plant roots and all the sea life in the ocean.
The oil looks like rainbow and some black.
This is why we need to protect it. Otherwise our ocean will end up like this:

I can see clean up boats are using Soap and chemicals. More oil will get removed with a special type chemical.
When the oil is removed it still doesn’t look normal, it is just being removed bit by bit and it spreads all over the sea and all the beaches of Sentosa, so don’t in the sea. Look at how the oil has moved and is effecting our environment
Here are some things you can help with that:
- try to not to use petrol oil
- don’t be wasteful and buy lots of things from other countries, that uses lots of petrol oil to get more ships out
- don’t make your carbon footprint too big; the smaller the better
